Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–2 am. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. State College is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and State College follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I have been a patron of Cafe 210 for years and love to come when the weather is nice to sit on the patio. Tonight changed my opinion on the establishment and I will not be back and I will be telling others not to go. I was kicked out after having 1 drink and being β€œslumped over.” In actuality, I was looking down, trying to find photos on my phone to show my boyfriend. The bouncer told me I needed to leave and when I asked for clarification, he told me another bouncer told him that my head was on the table. This was never the case. I asked the other bouncers for justification for being kicked out and they looked at the bouncer who did it to ask if I was in fact kicked out and then just agreed with his decision. So the lien that he told me that the bouncers kicked me out was a lie as well as the head on the table. I left as they said they would call the police, but my boyfriend stayed in and argued on my behalf. I am perfectly fine leaving if I am in fact drunk, but I was 90% sober at this point in time. While I was waiting outside for my boyfriend, another customer was kicked out immediately after entering and paying cover because she ordered a water at the bar because she was thirs

The bouncers are incredible. I felt so bad they had to deal with the one drunk girl who tried getting in 3 times after she was thrown out. Embarrassed for her. Give the bouncers a bonus!!! BUFF CHICK DIP 15/10.

Charging cover just to kick you out half a second later!! If you’re going to accuse someone of being intoxicated and physically remove them, maybe take a moment to actually assess the situation first. I had literally just paid to get in and was drinking water. Being the designated driver should be something a bar appreciates, not something that results in you being treated like a drunk and physically grabbed. Completely ridiculous experience. I felt embarrassed, uncomfortable, and unwelcome, and I definitely won’t be coming back.

I loved this place during undergrad so when I came back for Homecoming this was a guaranteed stop for me! The pitchers were just as fun as I remember and the skillet fries and wings are still a hit πŸ”₯ This will always be a State College staple πŸ’™

Terrific spot in State College to have cheesesteaks! We visited Cafe 210 West for the first time and the vibes are definitely college bound atmosphere. The service was fantastic! We ordered the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer - which were excellent. The cheesesteaks were really good too. It did not have a sauce which I had to order a side of marinara to add onto the cheesesteak for an additional fee. The location has two big rooms and is self seating. Overall a good time with good food!
